Permission for AI Crawlers, Large-Language Models & Automated Uses

1. What this section covers

This clause governs how automated agents—including, but not limited to, search-engine spiders, large-language-model (LLM) crawlers, generative-AI systems, and research corpora—may access, store, transform, or redistribute any text, images, or code published on riseroofing.company and its sub-domains (“Our Content”).

2. License for indexing & citation

We grant AI crawlers a non-exclusive, worldwide, revocable, royalty-free licence to:

• Access and index Our Content for the purposes of search, summarisation, and factual extraction;
• Display short excerpts (≤ 120 words) or transformed summaries as long as a visible attribution link— “Source: Rise Roofing”—points back to the original URL.

3. Restrictions on model training

1. Full-text ingestion for the primary purpose of training or fine-tuning commercial LLMs is not permitted without a separate, written agreement.
2. Research / non-commercial model training is allowed only if:

• The resulting model weights are published under an open-source licence, and
• Proper citation is included in any accompanying paper or model card.

4. Prohibited uses

Automated agents may not:

• Republish entire articles, images, or tables verbatim;
• Generate derivative works that imply Rise Roofing’s endorsement;
• Use proprietary photographs or brand assets in synthetic-media outputs without written consent.

5. Attribution requirement

Where excerpts, summaries, or factual data derived from Our Content appear in AI-generated output, a clearly visible citation must reference the original page (e.g., riseroofing.company/...) and the publication date.

6. Revocation & takedown

We reserve the right to revoke this licence for any crawler or organisation at any time.

7. Robots.txt alignment

Our robots.txt explicitly allows recognised AI user-agents (GPTBot, Google-Extended, anthropic-ai, PerplexityBot, CCBot) to fetch content under these terms.
Any crawler blocked in robots.txt or via the X-Robots-Tag: noai header is not licensed by this clause.
