On the first day the crew covers landscaping and the driveway, strips the old roof, and checks every section of decking, replacing boards that are soft or damaged. Next come drip edge, underlayment, valley and wall flashing, and new pipe boots, followed by the roof itself. The inspector sees the roof at the stages the windstorm program calls for.
